About the Artist

Haytham Jaber is a full time artist, living and working in Sahab, Municipality of Amman, Jordan. He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's in Painting. He has been painting since childhood.

Haytham Jaber has been drawn to the realistic school of art and academic art despite many exhibitions' and art organizations' tepid interest in those schools. Haytham's art is influenced by French academic painter William Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905), but his style takes a contemporary approach to classical painting.

He established the Realistic Art Association of Jordan, where he also teaches painting. Additionally, he teaches painting and sculpture at the University of Jordan and at the American University in Jordan.
